And local council gritted the roads, then it was just Main Roads, then just Bus Routes, now they just park the gritters as it is to dangerous for the drivers |

Round here last December we never had our bins emptied for two weeks because the bin men couldn't get out of the yard and down the road because of ice and snow, its was the local councils own yard and access road I had to take our bins along with a few others to the "recycling centre" and at one point refused entry but that's another story. |

It was Christmas Eve, no bins emtied for two weeks, not due again to be emptied for another two weeks, had great difficulty in getting six wheelie bins in a Freely, it's been said before the boot is to small So put them in a van, no you can't do that as you need a permit as it is a van, and you cannot get a permit on Christmas Eve, and since found out that you cannot have a permit for the said van as it has a tail lift and no vehicles other than the contractors own vehicles with any lifting equipment are allowed on site |
