Warriorbez can keep his tyres clean easily without bending down; it also helps to make the tyres last longer than anybody elses.

It's the same distance, if you drive fast or slower the wheels still rotate the same amount p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

What I would be interested in is - Annie have you still got the car and has your fuel mpg improved, you have certainly generated a large amount of responses!

I am overjoyed, I did a long run of 220 miles this weekend and the car averaged approx 45mpg!

Whilst there is a limit to how slow I will drive i noted on my recent european caravan tour that driving at 60mph-ish doesn't in practice add that much time to journeys. The main problem was boredem (especially driving across Belgium) on m/ways and was getting a gradual improvement with mpg as the holiday progressed reaching a best of 29mpg towing and 47+mpg solo. That was using Vpower or similar whenever possible and 2S0 additive. It would be helpful for owners to report what tyres and fuel they run on when noting mpg returns, these all have a bearing. I am on 235/17 road going Michelins in a 2009 TD4e manual.

I recently drove 180 miles to London, all motorway. Didn't go above 70. I averaged 40mpg using supermarket diesel. My tyres are general grabber AT. On the return leg I got 35mpg doing in excess of 70mph. I don't add anything to the diesel but Iam thinking of adding 2 stroke. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.
