From a previous thread I think the spats are also designed to improve fuel consumption so perhaps Tigger should ferret them out from his garage and save £££ over the next 100,000 miles...... JT Upgraded to an ex demo, 7 mth old, Rimini Red/Ebony Napoli Auto HSE on 28th Jan 2011, added roof rails, mudflaps and side strips.

The fuel consumption on my FL2 was rubbish before I took them off and it's equally rubbish now! I'd have to use the saving of 0.001mpg that it would achieve to save up for the materials needed to repair the front bumper when I damage it grounding the bib on something! |

You're driving a Land Rover and you're concerned by water splashes?!

The bib spoilers do not work, every puddle I have hit has caused a deluge on the screen, are there any videos anywhere or official data on what they are for? |

I have to say that during last winter we had a alot of side roads that were badly flooded and if they were driven through without the bibs the water at times did run up the bonnet and in worse case scenario up the screen as well (I know, too fast!!).

From experience they do work. I fitted mine a while back and they cured the problem of water obliterating vision if hitting a puddle a bit quick.

Okay, I'll concede this one; if you aren't planning on using the car off road and puddles are a serious problem, you might just as well fit them |
