CJ - you have a manual gear change I presume. It would appear that you have an unknbown (as yet) problem. Do not be alarmed, apparently all will be sorted. |

Not sure I fully understand what you are saying, I think many cars have a "fast idle" that they sit at for a while before dropping down to their normal idle speeds (which seems to be about 800 RPM on the TD4 Manual). If you're stopping at junctions without dipping the clutch, then the anti-stall will try to keep you moving, which would mean increasing the revs. I'm not sure that's what you mean though? |
