I have had the "misfortune" to back into a post and damage my rear bumper on my 2012 Freelander. It has marked the unpainted under part and so I do not think it can be repaired.

Had 97k on my 07 xs when I trader her in in January and it also towed a caravan.
Clutch felt like new but I know it was original as was the Dual Mass flywheel.
