I removed the bolts shown to be able to get tools in to undo the throttle body, creating movement in dipstick pipe and the loom.

Chaps, cleaning it won't help. That's the secret.

Replaced mine after waiting for the weather to ease as I was doing it outside.

You'll know if its failed as it makes one hell of a noise.

Just figured out we have a similar problem - makes a noise as soon as the keyfob is in the slot, it's this bit.

From what I can find on here it is a DIY job -any pics available?

Further investigation shows it is the throttle body. Appears to be a well known issue Thumbs Up
