I think its where the leather dries out and the constant compression eventually splits it.
Since having mine replaced i've started conditioning the leather to ensure it stay supple

| Thanks all, they are going to call me tomorrow, see what they say, it was serviced last week and they said that it was not covered, but now I am armed and ready. |

Hi all
Am new here and looking for advice
My FL is not yet 2 years old and has just been in for 2nd 30K service.
My dealer says its not covered by warranty, have done a bit of research and only man ... |
