Trying to remove the brake pedal switch but there's another switch in the way poss for cruise control. Do they both twist anti clockwise to remove?

Prev owner had replaced the connector at the fuel tank and I'm wondering if he had mixed the two ground wires up ...

I've re seated all the fuses bar the relays in the engine compartment. I will check the loom in the boot and try and find the earth splice.

Just a long shot..
The earth from the fuel sender and Haldex appear to go to the chassis just above the nearside rear light cluster. I wonder if there's a bad splice....

Sorry for late reply have had battery drop tested and it's fine.
I ran the car with everything on and charging at a steady 14.6v battery at 12.8 v.
