So I have had a refurbished turbo fitted
I have had all boost pipes checked
I have had the intercooler pressure tested
New maf sensor
New map sensor
I have had the dpf cleaned, and a new pressure ...

Is this a heat stress crack or a normal casting imperfection? Doesn’t show on outside of casting.

Think I’m just being a bit picky since I’m having to refit turbo & intercooler pipes. Happy to avoid the expense of a new pcv valve based on all your comments.

Not just a coating, but sufficient for it to run out when you lift the main plastic pipe up, if that makes sense?

Still have manifold absolute pressure fault code.
Now fully pressure smoke tested, no leaks.
Replaced map & maf. Checked actuator working, checked turbo turns freely by hand.
New fuel filter ...

Yes, checked all of that, there’s a worrying amount of soot being produced in lump mode, so I’m fearing an internal issue, injectors or valves - but would these raise another fault code?

So fuel filter changed, codes read and came up with:
P006C-92 Manifold absolute pressure
Turbo inlet pressure correlation - permanent

P0105-17 barometric circuit. - intermittent
