thinking of going there on monday in the freelander, anyone any experience of this route in the dales ? freelander 2 SE black and beige - now sold

If that’s the one next to Blakey Ridge then think it may be closed to Vehicles, not 100% sure though, its nice up here some cracking Mountain Bike Tracks & scenery

a few guys from landyzone have been there this year and recken its still open. just not too sure about the 'steps' section, the rest looks ok  freelander 2 SE black and beige - now sold

excellent run today along rudland rigg and then some exploring onto some more challangeing runs through the forest until very nearly got stuck

whole family loved it and will certainly do it again, found nice spot for the picnic in middle of forest along a stream with no one around for miles

Excellent photos there. I was a little hasty tackling that mud when I went down that track in Derbyshire. Got through ok but the mud came up and over the drivers side wheels. There are still some clumps of mud lurking under the engine on top of that tray/guard thingy that I can't get at.

I will probably just do what you did in future and go on a nice scenic route minus the mud  LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

I was over in that neck of woods this afternoon, only kept to the roads, great photos , might have look over there next week as I’m off now until the 9th May , How bad was the muddy bit then, as the Doctor says, there seems to a lack of mud splattered over your Freelander
