Personally I wouldn't have told them...does that mean that if you convoy with a mate from the pub or a mates house half way home you're not covered? Or even 2 or 3 cars going on holiday together? Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35

Always best to find out first, lets be honest, the insurance companies use anything they can to not pay out. The last thing you want is your car written off and no insurance. I had the same thing when getting quotes for insurance, I didn't realise that you had to declare a replacement windscreen as a claim but if you dont then you have lied on your application and once again they will fight to not pay out on false information within the application. |

Land Rover Insurance said I needed track insurance and they no longer do it. I explained that it was a convoy twice around the Land Rover Test Track at Gaydon tying to beat the previous number of Land Rovers in a convoy. I explained we wouldn't be racing and probably only reach around 30 MPH. I also told them it was towards Help The Heroes.

yes caravans blocking the way. loose caravans flying about in the wind, pieces of caravan lying in the road waiting to shred your tyres, its not good at all At work At home "I can't always believe facts I read on the web" - Charles Dickens winner by default of the tractor vs caravan race |

Hang on if you're talking about in convoy on LR's track then no it won't be covered! In the same was that if you go off roading it won't be covered either unless you add it to the policy.
