Chrome exhaust trim on SD4

Hi All,

Someone somewhere in the last month mentioned a poorly fitting afterfit LR exhaust trim on an SD4 without extra body trim. I seem to remember that shortening the tailpipe by around an inch allowed the exhaust trim to rest more neatly under the body. Can anybody advise that shortening the pipe makes the difference ?

Regards, Transman

By shortening the tail pipe the Stainless Steel finisher will sit higher up closer to the rear valance.

I just hate the way you have a nice oval chrome trim then the original pipe points through the bottom! Thats why I did the twin i6 conversion, it looks sooooo much better. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather.
