I come over to a freelander from a Kia Sorento. Forget all the hype and 7 year warrantee, the backup is hopeless. If a failed part isn't in this country then say goodbye to your Kia for months, I waited for over 4 weeks (under warantee) for a part to be fitted, and no car offered while I waited. Eventually I got onto Kia customer services because the Kia dealer was hopeless and was told that they had absolutely no idea when the part would be shipped over. I said surely they would fly in the part from Korea or at least have some knowledge of when it was due into the country. I might as well be talking to the trees. Just one other point Having had a Kia I can assure you the build quality leaves a lot to be desired, take my word for it.

That's interesting.

An ex friend traded her MINI for a near new Kia Rio and it very spacious for the money, but really cheap and nasty.

I've just spent about 20 minutes typing out the answer to that one, when my computer decided to shut down to load some windows updates! Entire answer lost Evil or Very Mad

Are you genuinely interested to know the answer to your question? If so, I'll type it out again later....
