collected the car. Not driven it yet husband won't give me a shot. Sad

Sorted that though told him I'm not making dinner tonight we shall go out and eat and I'll drive. Laughing Laughing

Anyway car is tucked up in Garage husband is giving it some Zymol treatment.

Not 2 mins in the garage but he had the wipers off hacking and sawing away at it . The passenger side blade is to long and hits against a bit plastic trim on the window makes a loud noise at the end of ever sweep of the window. Sorted now and fits nice and snug he cut a bit off the end and done some other stuff to get the plastic end of the wiper back on.

Not sure if it was just ours but wiper defo to long.

I'll take a picture. Fiona

Take note everybody - crap wiper design on F2's! How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?
Now driving - RRE Coupe Dynamic Lux Auto with Plus pack, Fuji White, Ebony, SD4 with tow pack
Gone - 2010MY FFRR TDv8 Stornoway and Ivory, Privacy - the pace of a TDv8 RRS, the incomparable grace of a Range Rover
Gone but will be missed- RRS Tdv8 HSE Stornoway Grey with Ebony Leather
Gone (only a little missed) RRS Tdv6 2.7SE Giverny Green/Aspen
Defender 90 County HT in Epsom Green

I was just moaning(as always hence boowho Crying or Very sad ) about Scotties wiper blade and then read that comment from Simon and started laughing realising we must be a rare breed us FL owners who seem addicted to buying machinery in a hope all will be well. NO we will not be talked into buying something reliable it would be too dull.
Great sense of humour Simon, and Scottie I hope you enjoy your new Freelander

I must say I have never had the experience of sawing off pieces of a brand new vehicle yet...

Looks to me as though they've simply fitted the wrong wiper on the passenger side -- at the risk of stating the blindingly obvious the wiper that should have been there will be an inch shorter Rolling Eyes

Thought the whole point of moving production to Halewood was to improve build quality... Twisted Evil Bill

BOOWHO,

I've been on disco3 since the beginning... so know about issues... real and perceived.

Frankly... I am jealous of scottie... its great to be one of the 1st in a brand new model. Did it with Freelander 1st time round. For a few months you can hear people saying "hey that a new Freelander... cool"

Makes you feel good Smile

And the paint looks great at least Wink
