Interesting pricing, lower than I expected and manual box option for the SD4 model.

What effect would the launch have on Freelander pricing and residuals, anyone on here have an idea?

The Evoque build and price isn't working properly (So what's new.......). I have the full spec and options list and price list and the website will not allow some combinations of option packs and also for some reason there is a glitch having the base spec with the TD4 engine. Matthew at LPR has looked into it as I couldn't (according to the website) have the LUX and Dynamic Plus packs on the car I have ordered - and it is confirmed that LR is aware of the problem with the website. And my spec has come out at dangerously close to £50k How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

I don't think it's going to take any sales from the Freelander, it's going for such a different market. Personally, I wouldn't want one, but there's a lot of people that will. I'd guess that it could even enhance residuals, because: 1. The Evoke will make a lot of demands on production at Halewood and may restrict production of new Freelanders in the process and... 2. The Evoke will increase interest in Land Rover as a whole and with increased showroom traffic, they'll be completely new prospects that come purely to see the Evoke, yet wind up buying a new or used Freelander instead! Either way there may be lower supply of the Freelander and / or more demand = higher residuals. That's my guess. Tigger. |

£31,415 for mine, which is a lot less than I was expecting and about the same as my Freelander. Huge surprise!

I much prefer Freelander myself, Evoque a bit feminine.

We are all quizzing the impact the Evoque will have on FL2 sales but how about Range Rover Sport sales? I think the Evoque is much more comparable to the RRS and similar priced. I can foresee alot of school run RRS's turning into Evoques! |

I don't think there will be any effect on Freelander sales - quality YES because LR have put all of those 1500 recruits onto the Freelander production line to train them................... How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

sd4 evoque available as a manual, so either improved clutch or lighter car or many many clutch failures, but LR would never send a car out if the expected it to breakdown would they At work
