Heard it on the Radio!!!!

Driving to work I was listening to Metro Radio (Newcastle based radio station - North East) and there seemed to be an advert for a new shopping outlet at Royal Quays in North Shields - Near to the ferry terminal.

LR Outlet Store

Selling LR bikes, LR umbrellas, and lots of other LR accessories.

Very sunny morning here in the alps - 12°C - now about to look under the seats to see if the electrical modules/loom are in place to take electric seats. Then it will be cup-of-tea time and a hour's peace before little monster arrives home from school at 11:35hrs., after which the day is no longer mine until she's fast asleep tonight. Parenting - who ever said it was a joy to behold.

Heck, mine are home at 3pm. Then it's Gymnastics classes - 26 mile round trip, Violin - 20 miles round trip and Cubs - local. I am breaking out in a sweat just thinking about it.

SWMBO is telling me I have an easy life and get everything done for me. She thinks you do housework, please tell me you don't! Embarassed

I do do the domestics - all of them from bog cleaning to ironing to gardening to taxi driver to shopping to cooking to sewing to washing to DIY. And today I have to take little monster to her music school lesson at 16:30hrs and collect her afterwards. Friday's are ballet lessons and that's the long drive approx 120kms round trip. Finally it is always my pension portfolio that gets raided to fund all extra curricula activities including holidays. However I steadfastly refuse to fund the big monster's fashion wardrobe.

Next week will however be bliss - big monster is on night shift and little monster is in circus school all day all week (part of the music school's programme).

Hey All

Just remember when you are travelling on all the essential trips it's a LAND ROVER FREELANDER 2 (if it's not it should be!)

Ah, well, yes, you are setting a bad example. That said my big monster doesn't do a hands turn in the normal 9-5 type thing, not much anyway. So I get the bogs cleaned, ironing and cooking all done for me. She cant wash cars to save her life that said, so I have to do that little chore.

A long trip to Ballet School! How long is the lesson? Circus School sounds good. I can just see my little monsters dangling from a high wire. Great fun!

Yes, my stash get raided for holidays and other things, but within reason, so it never diminishes. My big monster doesn't like spending cash, so thats a plus point. On the other hand Barclays ........... gnashing of teeth.

Big monster does not know how to clean her FL2, also for that matter, seldom appears to know how to refuel it!

Little monster's ballet lesson is 40mins duration so the drive there n back is a pain, I am researching the possibility of a school closer to home but as Big monster insists on the teachers being trained by the London Royal School of Ballet then my task here in CH is not an easy one.

Down a side valley from us a Swiss Circus sets up its winter quarters and then gets involved with the Kantones school authorities to do day or weekly activities with kids of most ages. Next week will be little monster's first circus course as the age threshold is six. I just hope that at the end of the week she does not want to runaway with the Circus when they up the Big Top and set off on their touring programme.

There used to be a Land Rover outlet shop at the Xscape ski slope in Milton Keynes - sure it closed ages ago.

IIRC Land Rover Gear shops are nothing to do with Land Rover as well, they are part of the Lookers Group...............
