Looks really nice! I am soooo glad I have the adaptive Xenon lights on mine as it completes the upgrade.

But fitting the new 2011 lights will always complete the upgrade. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

... it is as simple as that, just make sure you remove the central locating lug behind the grill as it won't fit the existing slam panel.... The 2011 bumper still only has two screw holes for the splash guards, so the 3rd hole still needs to be drilled and screwed... All comments appreciated !! Thumbs Up

Very good job - these are my comments! Thumbs Up

Now I'm starting to do the same. And i have same questions ... What you mind "so the 3rd hole still needs to be drilled and screwed"

Do you have same photo of this screw holes Bow down

Mav thanks for great detailed photos and also thanks to Mcphersonstrut for step by step instructions which both have been a great help. I've fitted the bumper and new projector head head lights. It looks fantastic also the lights are so much brighter. hoping to fit the rear spoiler and tail gate handle next week. Once I've completed the face lift I will post on some photos. Once again many thanks Mav, you've started a good thing Thumbs Up 2013 hse auto, black, almond leather, exnon lights, factory privacy glass, exhaust finisher, rear boot spoiler, mud flaps. Levrevod - Underneath the front bumper, just in front of each wheel you will see that your car has TWO pozidrive screws per side (They hold the bottom of the bumper to securing points). On your new plastic splash guards you will see THREE securing holes. TWO of the existing holes line up, so just remove the screws you can see on the bumper, offer up the splash guard and screw it back into place with these two screws. Then pilot drill the third hole and screw in a new (stainless/blackened) screw.

It's been a few months since MacP got me my new 2011 front bumper Bow down , today, I finally got round to upgrading it, front and back. The boot handle was the worst part!

Yes, I could do with upgrading the alloys. I'd prefer the 2011 19" 10 spoke, but I can live with it until I come across some.

No, but thinking about it. That said black is the best colour for getting away with non painted trim. I didn't have the rear spoiler, so the new one makes a nice difference.

Dunroof your car looks great, Thumbs Up I fitted my bumper and projector lights last week. Hopfully weather permiting I'm going to do the rear spoiler and boot handle next week. I've got lots of good photos and detailed info to follow which will be a great help.

I'm unsure about 19" alloys I think the look great but will the ride quality suffer ? I will try to test drive a Freelander with 19" rims first before I buy some.

Are you changing your badges, I was thinking of changing the grill badge only to green & gold rather than change all the badges and wheel centre badges to silver and green ? 2013 hse auto, black, almond leather, exnon lights, factory privacy glass, exhaust finisher, rear boot spoiler, mud flaps. Thanks, it certainly looks better than I thourght it would.

The boot was a real pain, mostly because the trim removal was difficult and then I don't like drilling holes in body work, but I just shrugged my shoulders and got on with it. I liked my Dremel for finishing the holes, but it aint for the faint hearted.

The 19" alloys will be a harder ride, but you get used to it. Laughing I put 20" alloys on my Disco and you felt every bump, but thats half the fun.

Yes, I've changed the badges now. They are difficult to remove. Cue the hairdryer and dental floss. I did notice some of the original badges were just starting to show signs of water ingress - I had to look hard, otherwise I might have left them and just replaced the silver/green on the bumper badge.

Now you come to mention it! Thumbs Up I've been doing the exterior paintwork with stain for the past two days on and off!

She did say she likes it and got all excited, but then promptly took the Disco into town. I think what she meant was, it looks really nice sitting in the driveway. Rolling Eyes

I can't remember the last time she drove the FL, so out of spite, whilst she was away on her daily retail thrapy fix and on a mission to get some facial bath, the baby and I took it for a spin, got a pizza and back home for lunch. Baby managed to put pizza on the ceiling and then she walked in - I almost got my jotters after a lecture about feeding baby inappropriate food! Banging Head
