Does anybody know a way of getting indentations out of the seat from where my childs seat has been sat.

I decided to move the seat to be behind the passenger seat since my 2 year old likes to kick my seat whilst we are on journey's.

The problem is the child seat has left indentations in the seat.

Is there a way to remove these?

Thought about injecting water to make the leather/foam swell up, a hair dryer or something

I had a indetation in my last car leather seats, when i got it and they said to leave it and general use will lift the dent out 12 months later it was still there.

on a more constructive note tie his feet together and feed him less chocolate

It would be much better if LR changed the way the rear seats fold down, the single seat is behind the drivers seat, so when ever i need to lay the double seat down to fit larger items in, it means his behind me kicking the hell out of my seatback

So I left him there as the wife can see him on the longer journeys and feed him his fruit and low sugar drinks like diet cola and fruit and nut bars

If the single seat was on the passenger side to begin with I wouldn't have to move the seat to the other side and i wouldn't have indentations in my seat.

LR obviuosley haven't got people with kids in the design room by having the single seat on the drivers side, which means getting the young one out in to traffic on the road instead of the pavement.

Ah but all Land Rovers are now designed with the USA market in mind not their home market, so the seat is on the correct side for their main market
With regard to curing the seat back kicking problem, making kids get out and walk home was a pretty good cure for any misbehaviour a few years back when I was a kid however as your lad is only 2, this might not be a good idea. A steel plate behind your seat would ensure that he only kicked the seat back once and never again, chopping off the legs at the knees works quite well too I'm told  How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

Nice to know we can get knock down getting the kids out of the car, give them the nightmares of mum or dad flying through the air with her/his legs snapping in half is all because the USA has to be pleased.

They can change the direction of the wiper blade, but can't be bothered with the seat layout obviously child/driver safety out of the car is at a bare minimum

If your captains chair got a indentations in it what you you do?

My captains chair has just been replaced because the seat fabric has worn out after only 18 months in service and the built in hydraulics for adjusting it went on the blink - we have 2 of these chairs on the bridge and they cost Euros18000 EACH and were the "cheap" version as the office thought that Nappa Leather was a bit ostentatious (but it wouldn't have worn out as quickly!). They are so expensive mainly because they are "Starship Enterprise" type seats and have built in computer controls (there is a built in mouse, joystick and 8 button control panel in the arms) for the 13 networked PC's that control everything from the radars to the main engine. Had the cushioning been indented by having a baby chair strapped to them some serious questions would have been asked in HQ! However had they been designed to have a baby seat on them then we would have sent them back to the maker as unsuitable for purpose. How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?
