Hallo guys. I just found out about this. I am definitely interested. Just a quick question though. Why 35 clays and not 50? £45 is a bit steep anyway, I usually pay £40 for 100 in crabtree farm, near Lancaster/Kendal. Anyway. We might be able to get 'concession' prices wherever we go, depending on numbers. Also, I can lend someone a Zambala S/S (I will be shooting my Miroku MK70 O/U) if someone needs a gun.

No problem. If you guys want I can guarantee we can get better than that elsewhere. I generally do not like places who use claymate system, as there is no leeway for 'misfires' of the system and you still get charged despite the clay trap not releasing. Crabtree farm do not use claymate and I take my own cartridges. I pay £40 per 100 clays. Not bad...

At this stage it's spot on that toeknee has organised this. Yes, there is always a better deal elsewhere as Coniston most likely get a lot of corporate business and charge accordingly but it is more centralised between east and west and a lot closer for me than the M6.
If you guys are going to alter the venue at this stage then I look forward to another time.

No plans to change the venue as EYorkshire said it’s more centralised between east and west and most people know it because it’s next to the LR Experience

If it proves to be successful, maybe we could organise something later in the year through your contacts. The idea is to meet up have a good chat and a bit of fun and discuss the merits of Caravans and Scones Laughing

Let's see, 13 signed up, 1 scone each+jam+cream, some will bring their wives/friends or the bit on the side so double that = 26 + some will bring family as its a day out so another 20, that =
Scones - 46
Jam - 4 pots
Cream (clotted) - 2lb

Perhaps Mrs G ought to make a start soon so as not to disappoint Exclamation and maybe share the total between fruit and plain to cater for differing tastes. Whistle

If the scones go down well - people might like another so the count could continue to rise. Wink
