I heard there was one on Friday on the A64 Friday near Castle Howard. But towing a caravan does not mean they have done anything wrong, could be any number of things causing these accidents.
Tractors pulling out.
Tractors putting fields on the roads.
Tractors.................... and then it could be tractors Whistle p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

So what we have here is a lorry parked in a dangerous place, lorry drivers tut tut.
I expect a tractor was not to far from the scene Whistle p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

The Doctor states "experienced off roaders all use manual"

FACT: I inspect many high spec off road vehicles at Scottish and British Cross Country Championships, also involved with Borders Hill Rally. These are driven by highly experienced drivers who all have an RAC competition licence.
These vehicles are mostly Land Rover based all high performance and capable of high speed without compromising 4x4 ability.
The courses are mixed, high speed and areas where 4x4 is essential. Tyres are regulated and are not allowed to be too aggressive.
3.9 and 4.2 LR engines, also 5.2 TVR and Chevvy.

Except for a few in standard production class, mainly diesel Defenders ALL USE AUTO BOX. Many Defender petrols are converted to Auto. All FL2's (3) Gone

FL2 GS Auto SD with heated leather, factory tints, alloy spare and a few other bits.

Without veering a way too much from my thoughts on the dreaded vaner’s. I think I may be siding with them on this one CG , appears the Trucker was at fault.
