United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Zermatt Silver
Things to check at delivery

Hi guys!
This is my first post and hope to get some advice.
Had already ordered my FL2 before stumbling on to this forum last week.
I have found the information here really useful - thanks guys!
My new 'baby' is a silver HSE with an auto box. She will be mine in 4 days! Can't wait!!
This is my first Landie and issues with reliability still cause a bit of worry.
Please suggest a list of things I should check with my dealer at the time of handover.
Thanks in advance.

Dents (bend down and look down the side)
Scratches (even the smallest)

Everything works (ie sunroof, wipers, windows, lights (inc reverse light)
Oil levels
Other engine Fluids (ABS etc)
Tyre Pressures (inc spare)
Upholstry
Parking sensors
Tax Disc (if applicable)
Correct Licence Number to Insurance Docs
That they give you 2 keyfobs
both keyfobs work

If opted for roof bars, No scrapes or dents to body work)
If opted for tow bar No Scrapes or dents to body work)
They ahve done all the updates to cars software

Charles Hurst Land Rover include a very nice box of chocolates in their delivery kit....................... so make sure that your dealer has added them too Laughing
I managed to keep the box in it's wrappers for a whole week before I opened them. Hand made and very nice too! The box doesn't fit in the refrigerated centre cubby box of the RRS which at this time of the year isn't a pronblem in the UK - had it been summertime I would have devoured them earlier to avoid them melting! How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?
Now driving - RRE Coupe Dynamic Lux Auto with Plus pack, Fuji White, Ebony, SD4 with tow pack
Gone - 2010MY FFRR TDv8 Stornoway and Ivory, Privacy - the pace of a TDv8 RRS, the incomparable grace of a Range Rover
Gone but will be missed- RRS Tdv8 HSE Stornoway Grey with Ebony Leather
Gone (only a little missed) RRS Tdv6 2.7SE Giverny Green/Aspen
Defender 90 County HT in Epsom Green
