Aux socket fault!!

When I connect my iPhone the sound is distorted. Has anyone had this problem and can it be fixed?

Try turning the volume down on your iphone, or next a different cable. Don't put petrol in a diesel. They don't run well.

I have one of these:
http://www.dealextreme.com/p/3-in-1-usb-3-...1-2m-34654
Then you get Line out and the volume can't be affected from the iPod\phone. + you can charge it at the same time with just 1 cable connected! Thumbs Up FL2, TD4 HSE

The fault is in the socket itself. Has anyone replaced one?

Have you checked the multiplug at the back of the console - if you've an older one they had to unplug this to do the PTC heater recall and sometimes the plug never went back in properly... mine was completly disconnected when I got it Freelander 2 TD4 Auto, SE, Narvik Black, Alpaca full leather, Rear Headrest Entertainment System, 6 CD, 18 HSE Wheels, Privicy tints
