I wonder if US tyres will conform to the new UK regulations? If not, it will be illegal to sell them here, unless there's some exemption for off-road tyres. http://www.vca.gov.uk/additional/files/enf...cement.pdf

landy19840 could you PM me with the name of your supplier?

I purchased 4 in January and had to pay £103.00 + VAT each. Total cost £494.00.

At the price you are quoting I could buy them and ship them to the Wirral and it would
still save me cash.

There from a local vauxhall garage who have a price match on fitted tyres!

Hi Landy19840, I fitted new pattern Grabber AT's and am very happy with them. Original post at; http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic7740.html
Unfortunately paid much more than you though but they were a bit scarce at the time Sad
I believe they are replacements for the AT2 and do conform to the new regs.
Some pics in my gallery

Great tyres but much noiser on tarmac than the original tyres and high speed cornering is obviously not as good.

HaVe not noticed the sound as I have the stereo booming! And for the cornering, I drove home the back way all week at speed along roads with bends and they are no different to the wranglers I had before! Also seemed good in the wet roads too!

Looking at the pic, they don't look quite as chunky as my GG AT2s, which, by the way, perform excellently in the mud and snow. Thumbs Up

As far as pushing the speed is concerned, I've never had any problems, and there is very little difference in road noise. Thumbs Up

As the NEW ATs are supposed to be better, I'd love to hear other peoples experiences. We Don't Care About Pot Holes !!

What size did you have on your AT2's?
Because I've saw that they don't make 235/65/17?
Or did they start make them?
Or do you have 16 inches wheels?

They are 235/65/17. Had a quick play in some mud and they seem good!
