My first FL2 ('07) came with Michelin. My second ('10) with Goodyear. Between, I upgraded to genuine LR 18" alloys and they came with Pirelli Scorpions. No complaint against either

If I were a betting man, I would put my money on the HSE fitted with the standard HSE wheels having Good Year Wranglers fitted, if it was a lesser model with with upgraded wheels to 18" (Iffy's) then the chances are they will be Pirrelli Scorpions, 19" wheels normally tend to have Continental Cross Contacts. The Wranglers though are a better wearing tyre IMHO and give better grip in the winter than the others, again IMHO. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

I had some Scorpions for about 4 months and they were very quiet compared to the previous Wranglers. Sideways grip in snow is supposed to be a bit suspect but I ran them through Yorkshires good downfalls with absolutely no problems at all, they were great in the snow. Only downside is the tread gap tends to pick up small stones so when you hear a tick tick tick check for stones first Got some Continental cross contact on my new HSE alloys which are even quieter still, but they don't look as 'meaty' as your Scorpions.
