Hey good people of Belgium, Lux or North East France,

My car has just had her 2nd birthday and i am looking for a service.

LR Waterloo (Belgium) are asking for $575 euro, plus $35 for a replacement car .

LR Namur (Belgium), have said they can not tell me how much it will because they have only been open 6 months (knowing this Country they will probably give me a 800euro bill ).

How much have you paid for your 2nd year service and where did you get it done? Can you recomend any good places?

Here in Switzerland your Land Rover / Range Rover is covered by a 3yr or 100k kms warranty that includes the first three years servicing, all fluids and parts used in the service plus if needed wiper blades and brake pads. Also included is the courtesy car.

I know that the terms of what's included in the warranty varies enormously across the globe - the current discussion here is when is LR going to respond to new warranties from: Merc VW (5yrs 100k kms) BMW (10ys 100k kms) Volvo (10yrs 150k kms)

I won't take mine to any dealer in Belgium. Having tried a few they are all crap. I go to Barratts in Ashford in the UK now - they are cheaper, excellent service and if I book enough in advance I can have a free loan car for the weekend and th car c\omes back valeted too. A weekend trip to the UK for a spot of shopping is a nice diversion and the car gets properly serviced. The Belgium dealer failed to notify me of 3 factory recall issues 2 of which were safety recalls - that's just how crap they are in this 3rd world country
