built in hands free Query

Hi There
I have just collected my new Freelander today and just having a play with the built in toys as you do.Whilst making a call from the car (I have a iphone) my voice is very quiet, is there a way of increasing my volume, have tried all the knobs and buttons but can only increase the dialling tone volume and volume of the person I am listening to.Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Rob

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4_e XS Manual Firenze Red

Hi Rob,
I don't have an Iphone but my Motorola responds. in terms of caller volume, by turning up the volume knob on the radio. On the freelander 2 integrated telephone system, the microphone is located in the central roof, light console. It may be a question of talking a little louder or you may have a duff microphone up there. Put it on your snagging list when you take it back to your dealer. Another Iphone user may tell us both more.
Either way let us know the outcome. I am planning to replace my phone this month and the iphone was the favorite.
Best. Mike. Firenze Red XS TD4 01/2013 . Averaging 1800 miles per month. My 5th Freelander in 11 years. Devotee?

Greetings,

I have an iPhone 4 and have never encountered any problems. I have never made any adjustments to the settings menu and when I have made calls, I am coming across loud and clear to the people at the other end.

Worth asking the dealer for advice Thumbs Up LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Unfortunately I have had such a bad experience with the integrated phone system now that I have simply given up with it! I had this issue in my Volkswagen - agreed a difeferent system - but you could vary the gain of the microphone only via the diagnostics connection. Maybe possible for the dealer to do this? MY10 TD4.e HSE
