Hi,

I use Einszett Anti Insect + Pre-Cleaner, squirt it on before washing and the bugs come off easily when washing....

Anyone used any good products / tips for cleaning cloth seats??? Made the possible mistake of going for the reef blue seats which show dirt really easily.

I Have the ebony black cloth a damp sponge/cloth gets rid of 99% of marks a very mild detergent + warm water does the rest . If your having real problems maybe the waterproof seat covers could be an option ? Thumbs Up

Quixx!

anyone here tried using Quixx Care System?specially the Wax and Polish?
these were available in Europe and has landed on US soil I think just this year.

my uncle's black nissan murano acquired minor scratches so he asked for my help...he was about to go to a car repair shop to have it done. I told him not a good idea since the scratches are seems to be minor. I learned about the QUIXX CARE SYSTEM upon reading it on ConsumerReport.org

I was so amazed by how the Quixx Scratch Remover was able to remove the scratches. Thumbs Up

now they have 2 other products namely Quixx "Wax" and Quixx "Polish" and I wanted to try them.

anyone? Very Happy Do Not Follow Me...You Can't Go Where I Go!!!

Seat covers are probably a bad idea as they may effect the seat mounted side airbags.

Even the Landrover seat covers ?.....would they make a seat cover which stops the airbags working properly Confused

These may offer a solution.

http://www.van-racks.co.uk/scripts/rbvehse...=seatcover

They don't have any sides, therefore no impact on the airbags.

Whilst washing the car today I noticed that the paint on the front plastic trim around the grill is wearing off Shocked

Wouldn't have thought it would have done, I only use a soft sponge and warm water Evil or Very Mad ______________________

care4car.com have seat covers with slots in the sides for vehicles with side airbags. not sure how good a fit they would be on the F2 though. They've got some other enticing goodies as well. Out with the old (2007 SE)
In with the new (2012 Dynamic with everything). Now also gone.

On the subject of car cleaning. Can anyone suggest a polish or wax type stuff to put on the alloy wheels to stop the brake dust sticking so much. At the moment I wash the wheels once a week but boy do they take some cleaning. ______________________
