Straight swap! its in the handbook.

Hope this helps Smile

I don't but will try get one tonight Smile

Anyways the 5000k is not related to brightness its colour.

4300k is a yellower light
5000k is slightly whiter and slightly dimmer!
6000k is a white/blue tinge light which is dimmer still.

Thumbs Up

best i can do you is this:

in real life my LED's are whiter than that but they are more 6000k than 5000k like the lights so will probably change them for the ones that everyone raves about on here :)

Does the fl2 already have ballists there, and you just need to change the bulbs? i fitted 6000k on my other car when they 1st came out but had to fit a bulb with a ballist box in the engine bay also

I contacted hid 2u today and they said the D1S needs a ballast kit it's not a straight swap, is that the case I thought it was a straight swap job...

If you mean these as a replacement for your existing factory fitted xenons, I would expect them to be as they state "a direct replacement for your factory fitted HID bulbs"

If you don't have xenons fitted from the factory, then you cannot fit those bulbs unless you replace your headlamp units. Even then there may be an issue regarding the self levelling of xenon headlamps being mandatory and not via a button on the dash as per the standard halogens.
You will be able to buy a kit you can fit yourself to your standard headlamps, but come m.o.t time you might get a fail.

Have a look around the well know auction site, you can normally pick up FL2 xenon headlamp units for a reasonable price.
