That decision was another one from 'Brussels' based on sexism and equal rights. Insurance costs should be based on the assessed risk and woman normally do not race the roads, or take the risks that we men do. Therefore they are a less risk to themselves and others on the road and their policy cost should reflect this.

Funny how they had to take the insurance companies to task about equality and women have ended up paying more!

Women are still exactly the same risk, insurance companies will now get more money for no extra.
