Pot hole repairs!!!!

Possible we are lucky that some pothole repairs(if you can call them repairs) are being done but i strongly object to finding half of the stuff on the sides of my FL2 and the holes back in road 2 days later.
Just washed it and tar spots everywhere.
Just had to replace 2 offside tyres on Volvo C70, large pothole on A road took out both, some 8-10 other cars stopped further along road with similar problems. We were fortunate to have a space saver for destroyed tyre and cut one did not deflate.

4 or 5 of the other cars stopped only had tyre gunk and no spare. All FL2's (3) Gone
2011 Mercedes C180 CGI Gone
FL2 GS Auto SD with heated leather, factory tints, alloy spare and a few other bits.

Take photographs at the time of the hole and damage, councils have claim forms for this sort of thing, always worth a try.

Too dangerous to photograph at night but claim off to highways dept next day.
Phoned local council next morning and was told many calls about this already. Not a council problem as it is an A road. When I phoned highway dept." I'll add you to the list of forms to be sent out"

Fingers crossed!!! All FL2's (3) Gone

you got to make a claim against the council.
but bear in mind they will want photo's and copy invoices for the repairs you have carried out, the photo need to be of the hole and dated.
took me 3 months to get the cost off a new 18" wheel and tyre £320 for my mondeo last spring but they did cough up in the end.

claim, claim, claim. its there duty to keep our road in good order. TO DARE IS TO DO

If they spent the ROAD TAX on the roads we wouldn't have this issue. Being called Road Tax I think us Brits should make a stand to ensure it is spent on the Title of the said tax! (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

(Past) RR Evouque Pure Tech in Barollo Black with bespoke Firenze Red colour coding.

...er it's not actually called 'Road Tax', though. It's 'Vehicle Excise Duty'. Not even a tax, and no roads involved Laughing Trevor

Do you honestly believe that VED is for putting back into the roads network?! If this is so why are electric vehicles exempt? They're heavier than an equivalent petrol. Admittedly I'm not the smartest person in the world but that says to me that they're going to do more damage and should therefore pay more...

Yet another stupid piece of taxation to hit the soft motorist. N*zi's Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35
