As well as owning a beautiful Tambora Flame FL2 I also own a beautiful yellow labrador 'Archie'. However when I got my new FL2 home and introduced Archie to his new mode of transport he and I dicovered that he could'nt jump in like he was always able to do with previous FL. So the moral of this story is - check the FL2 height specifications. The new design has incorporated the spare wheel inside and removed it from the back, therefore the height has been increased. Since I have bought 'Archie' a ramp to enable easy access, it also stops any scratching on the bumper. So now we are all happy again. |

I have a gold lab too and sometimes look after a black lab for a mate - my dog is just coping with the jump up but the other dog is not.

Hi, joe1978 It is the roofbox one. I got one for me and one for a mate about 2 years ago. Keeps the car clean and protects the bumper so very pleased - folds into a rucksack when not needed or flat in boot. We also added the mud and snow liner to remove and wash. We got a discount by buying ex-display and it was in box/unmarked so worth doing |

That reminds me of a Greek shepherd dog I used to have. I had a Suzuki Jimny then and Argos - that was his name - got really mad with strangers approaching and the car got really full of scratches. It was a mess! Maybe Archie didn't get in due to respect to the beautiful unscratched Freelander 2, Poidy.
