It's filmed round,

1. Glen Nevis
2. Commando Memorial, Spean Bridge
3. Tweedale Buildings Fort William
4. High Street, Fort William
5. River Nevis - For the last bit in the trees - think the first half hour of Brave Heart
6. Inverlochy
7. Aonach Mor (An-ich More)
8. Carn Mor Dearg (Carn More Jer-ag)

Jimmy Saville used to stay a lot with Mrs. Cameron-Head at Lochailort House. She is dead now, but was reknowned for her hospitality. I stayed there a few times, mostly when Stalking for Red Deer. It was a massive house with it's own Chapel. It was used by the Commandos during the WW2. Lord Lovat, the C/O and his men took the house over, but Mrs. CH stayed on. He taught her to fire a pistol in the grounds of the house.

After a days stalking, you'd go back to the big house, have a bath with drinks, then dress for Dinner, she insisted all men wore a tie. Then pre Dinner drinks. Thro' to the Dining Room. If you were in favour, you sat her side of the display of flowers in the middle of the table, if not, you were down the bottom and hidden. Drinks during Dinner, then drinks after dinner, then the men would retire to the Billiard Room and more alcohol. Everything after that was a haze!

There were some individual house guests. BBC producers, eccentrics etc. One of my friends went there for a weekend and stayed a year!

She liked her cats mind you. There were about 30 odd kicking about, mostly near the kitchens.

Anyway, enough of that, I've rambled on long enough.
