Looking at my invoice, they have charged me £1.50 for screen wash

next time I'm going to top the washer bottle up to the brim, and they see if they charge me for some, most likely will, test it and say i was not at the correct ratio for screen wash to water

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4_e XS Manual Firenze Red

15000 mile service on TD4 manual. Courtesy car:- Ford Fiesta three days (a shed) then '05 Freelander GS td4 for six days (There were other warranty issues hence the long period)

Parts 59.84 (Oil, Oil filter, Screen Wash, Brake Cleaner, and environmental disposal charge)
Labour 178.50 (2.10 hours)
Vat 41.71
Total £280.05 (No discount)

MJ Fews Ltd ( Land Rover)
Charfield, Wotton under Edge, Gloucestershire UK

How does that compare elswhere in the country.. or in Europe and elsewhere? (A ball park conversion to GB pounds would give a standard) Firenze Red XS TD4 01/2013 . Averaging 1800 miles per month. My 5th Freelander in 11 years. Devotee?

I was offered to take my new RRSport back to the dealer in London for it's first service in 12 months time by the sales manager when I collected it last Friday. Then he added that maybe I wouldn't in view of their inner London labour rates..... he was rather surprised to hear that I am already paying inner London rates out in the wilds of Scotland, in fact I am paying more than London rates to the tune of about £4 an hour more, so I would be paying LESS if I take the car back to them, even though it is a 900 mile round trip I can take it in as I have to go to London monthly for meetings and drive there and back anyway! OK so normally I leave the car in Southampton and catch the train up to London, but it is no hardship to drive there and have free parking for the day while the car is serviced! How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?
Now driving - RRE Coupe Dynamic Lux Auto with Plus pack, Fuji White, Ebony, SD4 with tow pack
Gone - 2010MY FFRR TDv8 Stornoway and Ivory, Privacy - the pace of a TDv8 RRS, the incomparable grace of a Range Rover
Gone but will be missed- RRS Tdv8 HSE Stornoway Grey with Ebony Leather
Gone (only a little missed) RRS Tdv6 2.7SE Giverny Green/Aspen
Defender 90 County HT in Epsom Green

Hi guys, I'm new to the Land Rover group - and in fact still waiting to take delivery of my new pride and joy. (2 weeks to go)

I have to admit, I found this forum after placing the order - but I have picked up many tips and answers to my questions from reading through the group.

One of the questions I had, was also related to the cost of servicing, and from trawling through Google, I found this Land Rover Dealership advertising their "Fixed Cost Servicing"

http://www.lookerslandrover.co.uk/service....p;engine=2

How does this compare to what others have found.

Wish me luck with my new car Very Happy

This is a fixed price - so should included any parts/oil required for the service.

I must admit, I thought this was steep. When I asked at my local dealership, where my car is coming from, they said it would be around £250. Given that my 1st service should be well over a year away, it's too early to say what the cost would be Smile

I know this maybe not be the right area to ask - but does anyone know about fitting a GPS screen and CD Changer - I've seen a few on Ebay recently. My guess is they would require some form of update within the car software. Question
