England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Tonga Green
Strange hex head key!

Just taken delivery of an MY07 GS and found a stange LR key in the glove box. It has a hex tyoe end on it. Does anyone know what this is for - it looks important????

Sorry but I know it isn't the wheel nut thing this hex head key thing is about 5mm wide. 2002 Honda VFR800

oh i see now its an 07 so airbag uses a key like mine? just thought new ones where maybe different At work

The original owner had roof bars fitted and the allen key is for that

Doesn't work for the airbag deactivate.

Roofbars sounds like a possibility.

I think airbag deacitvation is the blade in the fob as is the child locks on the rear doors. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

It looks to me like the key for removing the front and rear light guards.

One like that came with my guards!
