Scotland 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Fuji White

Having carried out MOT's for many years the small 1.1, 1.3 petrol engined cars and cars doing only low mileages were the highest fail rate on emmission test. Town diesels almost impossible to get through, spent more time cleaning and recalibrating smoke tester than test took.
From a different view small engined petrol (except the very latest) cars cruising at 75mph on motorway would be lucky to get 35-40 mpg, even less into a wind.
10my FL2 Auto averaged 42mpg on these runs. Not had a good long run in SD yet.

But you will never educate the goody goody greens!!!!! All FL2's (3) Gone
2011 Mercedes C180 CGI Gone
FL2 GS Auto SD with heated leather, factory tints, alloy spare and a few other bits.

Oh yeah, and what did they load their throw away plastic bags full of shopping into? A planet friendly mirage that is the Prius? No, it was a V6 Vauxhall Senator Laughing

Ah thats why, they must be from a council estate then, living on benefits so you are actually paying for his V6, and I bet their son has a Subaru Impreza with a 6" exhaust on that can be heard on Mars with a 300amp stereo that only works with the windows down Rolling Eyes I was only wrong once and thats when I thought I was but wasnt.

With a trailer on Thumbs Up (admittedly empty but none the less!)

Last winter someone with a Prius asked if I'd give them a tow as they were stuck (funnily enough Laughing )

Just as I was pulling he said 'you're stupid 4x4 is good for something then'

My reply...£20 if you want me to finish the job?? Very Happy They're just like children. I wonder if there brains stopped developing at 6 years old, when they believe anything that anyone with authority tells them? Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35

I heard that the environmental impact of a large dog is greater than that of a Toyota Landcruiser - because of its meat diet. So next time you see a man with a ponytail walking his dog, wind down your window and say "hello, it's good to meet someone else who doesn't care about the environment".

And as for the environmental impact of children....comparisons with cars come nowhere near it. We are probably talking HGVs and large ones at that. So when you see him again with his kids and his dog, you can wind down your window and say "hello, it's you again. Remember me. You really don't care one bit about your impact on the environment do you". Then foot to the floor and get he hell out of it.

Mankind is doomed. There are too many of us. But rather than going to hell in a handcart, let's go in style in a TD4 HSE.
