[Rant on]
My feeling is that if you do not like the way a thread is going then stay away from it. If a thread is hijacked and you don't like it, I say it is better to keep your comments to yourself because you know people are going to respond to any comments you have and that will just move the discussion further off-topic than it already was..............

Look at this thread as an example there are more posts about correct forum humour than there are about the SE question or even the SEX trim.

If somebody drops in humour that is unbecoming then I will simply look past it as I believe the forum is a space away from our everyday stuff and that written text can often not sound the way it did when we said or thought it.

As Nick says we should try to respect one another on here.......but bear in mind you should respect me more Very Happy

[Rant off]

Other than that I've got nothing else to say except that I hate you all................which is why I spend so much time on here. Laughing

I think i might have made the whole situation worse by biting to mountains comment instead of passing over it, but everybody has free speech, in the UK anyway, and can state their own opinion, like myself and mountain did.

Instead of making a opinion on the open forum, if your offended a Polite PM would suffice to point out the comment that you take exception too.

I don't think any of my comments or humour was offensive or sexist neither were anybody elses.

I guess thats why some people like Chubby Brown and some people prefer Ronnie Corrbet and some people prefer the News at Ten.

Both trim levels (US)? ............ we have 6 models here for the FL2 (LR2) in the UK:-

S (no terrain response), GS, XS, SE, HSE! Razz

It would seem odd to delete one of the two you have over there. But there again me thinks the LR2 is sooo cheap over there compared to here Rolling Eyes Maybe the lower spec models are irrelevant!

6 models in the UK ? 1)S ..2)GS ..3)XS ..4)SE ..5)HSE ......i then added the SEX model and the rest is history Laughing Thumbs Up

fair enough

Yer ok G69, fair enough!! Embarassed

I remember now, I thought there were 6 models, then on checking found there were only 5 as S is effectively the base model in the UK. I then forgot to change number quoted, as you do!

Anyway, I think I agree ... we have just about exhausted all aspects of this string Razz
