I use Autoglym Hi- Def wax. Pricey but what a finish you get and it has lasted throughout this Scottish winter |

I've been using TurtleWax Wash n Wax on all my cars for over 30 years and it's hard to beat.

I use Meguires products but lately I've been taking it to a car wash It too bloody hot outside at the moment.

never heard engine oil being used on rubber before, would have thought it would perish it eventually ? Iain ps the black plastic wheel arches on my old Golf have faded so badly they are nearly white !! if you really want to wash in the summer heat, have a look at a DI resin filter
