fl2 black box

hi there is there anybody who can tell me what the black box with 2 multiplug connectors is for? it is positioned in front of, and fixed onto the same mounting bracket as the audio amplifier situated behind the o/s rear boot panel... many thanks, andrew

thanks for the replies, i dont think it has got a tracker fitted unless fitted as a factory option - it has a part number on the side, i will recheck it tomorrow but i wasn't sure whether it was to do with the audio system with being situated directley in front of the amp

looked at old posts and the alarm backup is under the bonnet near the main battery Confused At work

If by "in front" you understand over the audio amplifier and not towards the front of the car, then it is the telephone module.
