Ipod

Can someone suggest the best way to integrate an Ipod in my 2010 HSE? Which one should I get, and is there a Land Rover Ipod as an accessory ?

Thanks Very Happy

I use a Brodit passthrough holder and a Kensington liquid aux plugged in,

The cigar charger part is hidden away, and the FL2 AUX port to the rear is a fake as it hidden underneither with the liquids lead plugged in

Two options as far as I know .
One is to connect your Ipod to the AUX socket between the seats and buy a bracket to fit to your dash so you can see what is playing and making it easy to change the tracks via the ipod itself.
The other is to buy a LR Ipod lead "connects to the back of the head unit" which will give you control of the Ipod allowing you to change tracks via the steering wheel controls, but you'll still need the ipod dash mounted to see your listings.

Way over priced in my opinion for what little extra you get.

My Kensington works perfectly well, fitters were the guys LPR use and was already installed

The iPod connect came out in glove box, the aux socket on the back of centre console was removed so the liquids aux socket could be plugged in out of sight, then a new sockets was placed in the whole left to make it look standard, I haven't traced the cigar socket back to find were or how it's connected, but I assume it's spliced into a switched feed somewhere

With it's small remote and screen visual its cheap and works better than any expensive ones I've seen Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I have mounted my iPod Touch on the vent right above the FM button on the Stereo.
I have used this cable:

Works great and I have the screen close so it's really easy to use while driving. I have also installed the NAV music app that works with swipe to change tunes and tap to pause and play. Love it!

I found that just having a remote without being able to see your albums doesn't work for me.
I'll see if I can get a pic of the setup. FL2, TD4 HSE
