RATTLE...

Hi Peeps

Well i have picked up my new motor which is just spot on and drives a lot better than my MKV Golf 2.0 GT TDI(do miss the great mpg of the Golf aswell Sad )slight problem though when i am driving it in lets say 3rd gear at about 1500rpm there seems to be a rattle it seems like its a piece of trim lose somewhere by the engine bay, i do have it booked into Landrover on the 15th so hopefully they might find something,oh and its deffo not the clutch or vibration through the gears i also called landrover support out and they also think its a piece of trim lose somewhere... Confused

Any suggestions on what it might be would be gladly appreciated

Thanks.. Thumbs Up

Try the air filter housing one of the rubber feet /holders had come loose which caused a kind of dull druming noise on mine put your hand or a mates on the top of air filter box with engine running to see if it stops
