I know it has been covered, but my Brink towbar does clunk but the supplier no longer sells the Brink version and has wahsed their hands of it.

Mav, try speaking with Brink direct on 02476 355810 and ask to speak to Andy, they are only just down the road from you at Nuneaton. I dealt with them and they are really hepful, just remember the latest one will have 215 stamped on the ball, they should replace the ball and receiver, easy to do two nuts and bolts  p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior
