Mine's now been upgraded. You will be in no doubt if this happens to you; limp mode is not slightly reduced performance, it is absolutely crippled.

You, folks on the island, have been largely sparred from Freelander's rampant DPF problems. So far. Or should I say: Welcome To The Club? I come from the German forum "blacklandy.de" and guess, what is the subject of the longest thread with 87 pages and 864 posts there? Right. It is DPF and ensuing Reduced Engine Performance. It's outrageous, but LR-cars are high in demand currently, so why should they bother to fit this thing properly? |
