the D3/4 has a ladder chassis AND a monocoque i do believe,

and as for towing weight,, seem to remember a touareg towing a 747.. am pretty sure a D3/4 RRS FFRR. could do it too...

as fpr FL2 being quicker thatn D4... you need to check your figures,,, the LR website claims 10.9secs 0-60 for FL2 and 9 seconds for D4,, that's nearly a 2 second advantage to the D4.

all have quoted top speed of 112mph..

however,, have just seen the SD4 figures..8.7 but we are talking .3 of a second here,,, can anyone REALLY notice that?

manual diesel = 160bhp and 10.5 seconds
Auto = 160bhp and 10.2 seconds

you're mistaken,,, TDV6 9 seconds to 60mph and 244 bhp..
