Why such a long wait for the vehicle? Now would be a good time to ask them to pull the wheels and re-balance with proper weights (on the inside of the rims).

You will at some point, usually after you've relaxed, go for the clutch when slowing down. You will then have a demo of how good the brakes are.  For a free country, it does seem pretty expensive these days.

You can't have been down this way recently London, A40 and Empty Road are not normally used in the same sentence but I did hear of a break in traffic at 2.20 am Xmas morning but by 2.21am it was back to normal.  p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

No, no, no, no, no, Lookers are not stock taking, they have told you that simply to keep you away.
