What colour is "Aspen"

In the Freelander 2 accessory brochure, there are 2 sorts of seat covers listed, one is "Sand" and the other is "Aspen".

What colour is Aspen? It looks like a dark grey in the photo but somebody has suggested it is actually green? Looking for dark grey or black.

Thanks Thumbs Up

Re: What colour is "Aspen"

Aspen is a green colour.

We have these LR tailored seat covers and they are excellent. They are only during the winter (Nov>April) as they provide protection from wet ski clothes etc. Washable, water and oil proof. But be warned, they do take about an hour to fit when you do that job for the first time. And, you cannot use the rear centre arm rest's little cubby hole for storage as the protection cover goes over the top of it, however, you can still use the rear arm rest's two drinks holders.

Thanks, that's what I was told.

The ones on the LR site as "Aspen" are either a lousy photo or they are a very dark colour:

any ideas if this is a mistake and/or there are other options available? or are there any good aftermarket ones worthy of consideration? Aftermarket ones are often a bit poo, expressions like "semi tailored" mean "nearly fits the seat" Rolling Eyes

It is a very poor colour match photograph.

The only other colour presently available is Sand and that coiour is portrayed accurately in the LR accessories catalogue.

There are cheaper covers from 3rd Party suppliers - I cannot comment on their fit, quality or durability. The LR ones are a quality item and judging from the material and their construction I'm confident that they'll last a long time.

One important feature to look for is do the cheaper 3rd Party covers have the front seats' side airbag release escape vents that the official LR covers have - this is a very essential safety element. Also do they have the access to the front seats rear back pocket that the rear passengers use - the LR ones have.
