United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Stornoway Grey

Just wanted to say a quick thankyou for all the advice.
Decided on a full service at a specialist in Wickford, Essex, which I had done today. Car fine, no issues thankfully.

What was the cost of the 4 yr service, if you don't mind me asking. I'm just down the road from the place and it'll be one of my options if I've still got the car in 4 years time. For a free country, it does seem pretty expensive these days.

Service was £348.36. Probably not the best price, but over £100 less than the main dealer price I was quoted.
Everyone I spoke to there was very nice, would not hesitate to use them again next year.

No I think that's a pretty good price. It's nice to know there's a decent alternative about. Cheers For a free country, it does seem pretty expensive these days.

LR Dealer gave my car a three year service (allegedly) when I bought it. I asked about brake fluid and they said it didn't need it. They didn't reset the service interval indicator either Whistle

If you have had the brake fluid done it should be marked in the service book. I must say I have never had the brake fluid changed on any of my cars except when doing a major brake overhaul and have had no problems as a result.
