Any one who has Leather Seats please be aware that those with Bum warming Heaters will suffer serious degrading of the Leather unless you frequently feed/nourish the Leather.
The heaters are used by most drivers over the winter period, add up the total number of hours that you use these heaters over the winter.
Now stick your shoes or a Leather bag in the oven at the same temperature for the same number of hours and see what happens.
Heat dries out the oils & fats put in during Tanning to keep the leather supple.
Also don't forget the Steering Wheel cover...Acids in the perspiration from your hands will attack the Leather and the Stitching, clean & Protect just like your seats. Offset your Carbon emissions by boycotting Baked Beans and all Green Vegitables.

So what would be a good recommendation for the product to use that leaves a nice leathery conditioned smell?

I use Gliptone Liquid Leather cleaner, and then the same brands conditioner on ours and have on lots of our vehicles, leaves the leather looking like new and brings back the lovely leaather smell  Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35

Gliptone is I believe online order, it is without doubt the best on the market for that real leather smell, it will not work on substitutes though and takes a few applications to get a good depth that will last. Just type it into google if you are stuck. I did post all the details in a previous post but dont ask where that is.
Oh.....and another thing...they are NOT all the same in the can.
Oh.....and another thing... do not spray anything out of a can onto Leather, it's ok for Vynil and imitation Leather but not the real thing, no matter what you are told by manufacturers or what is on the can.
Gliptone is in a sqeezy plastic bottle and is used by R..ls Ro..e & Bent..y.
Many Leather care products will protect but they must also be able to feed the Leather, Connolly do one that is good, but Gliptone is without a doubt the best for the authentic smell. (tried them all professionally).
