Underbody protection

I've done a search and there's not much about underbody protection.

On the Disco3 I had the Mantec Sumpguard (group buy special) and was hoping to be able to buy some bolt on stuff for my shiny new MY11 FL2

I saw on another thread that fuel tank protection was highly recommended, where are these available and what are the other lumps of alli I can get to keep the underside out of trouble?

I think the LR Experience FL2s have Mantec underbody protection. Perhaps a quick phone call to one of the Experience centres would be worthwhile as they might know where LR source this kit from.

Yep Mantec supply front and rear guards to Experince vehicles. The guards are very good quality although expensive! I can recommend them and have had their guards fitted to most models of Land Rover I have owned. Try emailing them and ask for a discount for buying direct. Previous owner of;

Are there Fitting Instructions available for the Tank Guard?
Would like to buy one, but only if it's possible to fit them without drilling holes into the car (or parts of the car).

Regards,
Fighting Tux

Apparently there are but the kit uses holes already in the chassis! Previous owner of;

When I fitted the tank guard the instructions showed holes that needed to be drilled, not necessary - bit late after you have drilled them Sad
Get her up on ramps lie on you back, guard on your chest (heavier than it looks) and try fitting without drilling.
Guaranteed you will have the wrong sockets/spanners and will have to do this several times to retrieve the right tools. Would probably have taken less than an hour with a pit, but you could make it last all morning if the option was helping SWMBO do the weekly shop at Asda Smile
