Steering Wheel Badge Removal

I never have liked the colour green. I have a nice black badge to replace the little green horror in the middle of the steering wheel.

How easy is it to remove the green beastie without upsetting the airbag ?

All help appreciated. GS TD4 All Black

Looking back at the original LR badge then black/silver IS the most traditional anyway Wink

Green/gold only came about in 1989 Smile

GS69, try a black felt tip first, once you are used to it then paint them in, or you you prefer green wipe of the felt tip. Since we have the oval and are part of the Group....for the moment....how about blue like Ford Whistle Whistle

Steering wheel centre badge - got from www.mudstuff.co.uk also the badge from the centre hubs will fit but you have to buy four of them Sad

Centre Hubs - www.tawpark4x4.com as advertised on ebay

Centre hub diameter is approximately 63mm so these will fit the Freelander 2 17" std rims

I am going to have the C pillar/rear/front badges made. I will keep this thread updated on any further progress. GS TD4 All Black

Thanks carl your right the felt tip seems a bit more of a sensible option don`t want to get paint all over the steering wheel.....will give the Ford badge a miss Laughing Laughing
