Saving lives? Some ambulance vehicles are paramedics lease cars..you don't want to be going to the shops or on holiday in a yellow and green battenburg car! A car can get there quicker than a stretcher carrying ambulance..if you've stopped breathinmg or having heart attack I think you'd find an unmarked ambulance quite handy actually! Note the latest blue light regulations require the lights to be visible from all sides of the car..hence the lights in the side rear windows (used to be just front and rear) |

Run..... I could try but I would rather walk nice and steady as it's slippy out there and there's a few empty bottles of pinot in the house Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

so an unmarked on can be used as a daily driver without attracting extra attention then blue lights on for emergencies. All (I think) the paramedic cars around us are fully marked. They used to all park up at an office at he side of the A19. At work

They could be deployed in Yorkshire to care for Lollipop Men who get attacked by certain Freely drivers who park outside schools. |
